The second Commission 3 “Integrated Urban Governance” took place the 6 October 2010 and counted on the participation of 38 Metropolis’ member cities and 9 external partners. The meeting, presided by Melbourne, went under the slogan “Urban Management and Social Inclusion” and afforded participants the chance to exchange information and analyze the consequences of the organization of governance on urban management, strategic planning and the need for target-oriented models of governance. Also of note was the diversity of the case studies presented. 18 speeches were delivered from all the geographical regions of Metropolis.
